The Basics.
There are currently only 2 gangs operating in GTA V Gangs (We're looking for more).
There are currently only 2 gangs operating in GTA V Gangs (We're looking for more).
They are Grove Street Families and The Salvatore's. Each initially has control of 3 pieces of named territory in San Andreas. These will be fought over and you can see the territory rules for full info.
- Each player will have to be happy to abide by the GTA V Gangs "Rules Of The Street" which can be read in the forums. And be willing to participate in the role-play aspect of things, as well as the turf wars.
- Each gang will have a leader who will overlook and run each set. He will have the duty of organizing turf wars, free roams and events with other gangs. He will also be responsible for the majority of recruitment for that set. Please listen to your gang leaders as they have likely been advised by myself. We need to keep order to make this work!
- Each gang has it's own ethnic background, this means that some gangs will prefer it if your character looks of a certain origin; African American, Hispanic, White, etc... Who joins is ultimately up to the gang leader(s), and these ethnics aren't enforced, but players looking right for their gang will add to make it look a bit more realistic! Especially in the videos we're planning on Next-Gen. You may join more than one gang but it has to be with different characters..
- Each gang has a preset colour to represent as a source of ID (No player names above heads), so you may need to buy some clothes to show which set you're with. Some might not let you buy them straight away, until you've earnt them! You can also paint your cars, guns and set your parachute smoke and many other things to the same as your crew. Check out the gang preferences forums for more info their choices.
- There will be Federal Services soon such as Police, D.E.A., S.W.A.T. and F.I.B. These roles are to be taken by other users who wish to play a style where they can clean the streets rather than the opposite.. They too will have a rank system, which will require them to serve, solve crimes and provide evidence for their superiors, to work their way up the ladder of promotion.
That's the basics for now, please get in touch if you'd like to lead a gang!
